MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL BE NAKED_Nikola

MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL BE NAKED_Nikola  is a performative encounter of dance, live music and visual art.
The starting point is an exploration of identity, speechlessness and belonging – inspired by the Roma heritage of the choreographer’s late father.

Between familial absence, social invisibility and biographical fragmentation, a search for belonging unfolds.
What does identity mean when language is missing? What does the body remember when nothing was ever spoken about it?

Three artists develop an improvisation-based performance in which body, voice, cello, looper, e-drums, accordion and text fragments intertwine on equal terms. Dance and sound emerge live, shaping a space between memory, becoming and belonging.

„Maybe we should all be naked“ stands for shedding attributions, shame and representational constraints – and opens a collective space for resonance and solidarity.
